Recording the unknown, overlooked and unnoticed areas of the everyday in central Manchester. I set out with a wide approach to capture these elements of the city that I passed by, without a specific subject matter in mind. Through the process of recording I unintentionally focused on disregarded areas or places with specific points of interest that go unnoticed to the majority.
I investigated using framing and the composition of the photos to enhance the narrative of the subject matter. Also all the photos were shot in manual so I could adjust all the settings to create the desired mood and feeling. Finally I haven’t edited any photo to keep the real and human elements of Manchester alive.
