During our trip to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, I explored a series of ways to capture information about the same object in multiple ways. Each sketch was a quick 8 to 10 minutes looking at ways to quickly record the surroundings. This quick paced way of working forced me to focus on the crucial parts of the scene and put an emphasis on laying out the key proportions of the sculpture first, then inserting details to build a narrative.
The first task was to record the same scene 5 times from 5 different angles for 8 minutes at a time.
